It is our mission at Blue Sky to provide these opportunities in a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment. 

Purpose

Blue Sky will support the individual’s right to become an active part of our community through a process that is person centered from origination and does not waiver this at any point. The person-centered process begins with interviews that not only identify their strengths, but also their personal interests, goals, hopes, and dreams. It is our belief that development based on personal preferences lead to greater opportunity for success and happiness. We will include the individual participant and their personal support team in the planning process and empower them to be an active participant in the support services we provide to them. It is our plan to have the individual’s interests and goals lead to their chosen vocational path. For those who do not choose the vocational path we will develop programs moving individuals into community inclusion and greater independence. We will always be acutely aware that our purpose is to serve the needs of the individuals that invite us into their lives first, and the needs of our organization to be successful will follow.

Goals

To provide support to the person in need of the services in a meaningful, safe, and relevant way that will lead to their being successful and happy. To use the person-centered approach to provide opportunities they would have not experienced otherwise. To provide a meaningful experience that will ultimately be a positive influence in their daily lives. To make a difference in a positive way.
